Kingston University's Saturday Club Programme - Applications are now open! In partnership with the National Saturday Club, we run two exciting opportunities: Art & Design Saturday Club Science & Engineering Saturday Club Both clubs are completely FREE for Year 10 students and take place on our Kingston University campuses. The programme runs across 15 Saturdays, from 24 January – 27 June 2026. We’re looking for students who are passionate about Science & Engineering or Art & Design. This is a fantastic opportunity to: ✔ Gain experience in industry-leading facilities ✔ Work with expert tutors and academics ✔ Develop skills, creativity, and confidence in a supportive university setting Please note: · Students may only apply to one club · Applications close at 6pm on Monday 27 October 2025 · Applications are not based on ability, but on who we believe will benefit most · To ensure fair access, places may be prioritised for students from underrepresented groups

7th October 2025 - 4pm-5pm - WEBINAR - Discover apprenticeships at the BBC Join us to discover exciting apprenticeship opportunities at the BBC in business, data and digital technology, engineering, journalism, and production. This engaging session is designed for school leavers, career changers, or anyone curious about what it’s like to work behind the scenes of the UK’s leading public service broadcaster. During this session, you’ll hear directly from the BBC about what apprenticeships are available to apply for and what it’s like to be an apprentice. Gain valuable insights into the structure and benefits of the apprenticeship schemes, including hands-on training, support, and career development opportunities. We’ll also guide you through the recruitment process and share tips to make your application stand out. This is a great opportunity to explore apprenticeship opportunities with the BBC and ask questions.

15th October 2025 - 11am-12pm - Flight Check: Exploring Medical Roles in Aviation Students will meet real aviation medical professionals. They’ll discover the range of careers that combine medicine and aviation, and learn how science, health, and teamwork all play a vital role in keeping our skies safe.

21st October 2025 - 6pm-7pm - WEBINAR - Exploring British Army Apprenticeships for Parents and Carers Join this webinar designed for parents and carers to discover the exciting opportunities available through British Army apprenticeships and to learn more about what life in the British Army is really like. This informative session will explore the day-to-day experience of being a soldier, answer common questions about life in the British Army and highlight the wide range of job roles and careers available through apprenticeships. You will also hear directly from parents of serving soldiers about their experiences and insights.
