SEND at The Limes College:

Belonging | Achieve | Move On | Relationships

At the heart of our SEND provision is the unwavering belief that every learner is entitled to feel valued, empowered, and capable of change. In our school, we create a safe and inclusive environment where all young people—regardless of need or background—belong.

We recognise the unique strengths and challenges of each pupil and work relentlessly to remove barriers to learning, ensuring that they can achieve academically, socially, and emotionally. Our personalised approach promotes resilience, nurtures confidence, and celebrates progress in all its forms.

We prepare our students not just to succeed here, but to move on—to reintegrate into mainstream settings, access specialist provision, or transition into further education, training, or employment. Every step forward is a shared success.

Strong, authentic relationships underpin everything we do. Through trust, consistency, and collaboration with families, professionals, and pupils themselves, we build a foundation of support that endures beyond their time with us.

Together, we grow futures. Together, we belong.

If you have a concern about SEND provision, or would like to discuss your child’s progress or attainment, we encourage you to contact the SENCo in the first instance: Mrs Rachael Carvill, SENCo, sen@thelimescollege.org.uk

As a school, we work closely with the London Borough of Sutton through Cognus, the organisation commissioned by the borough to provide education services.

The Limes College fully embraces Sutton’s SEND Charter through having high expectations for all our students and by “providing them with the best chances to achieve their best outcomes in life, whatever their starting point and to prepare them effectively for adulthood”.
