9th May 2024 - 6pm-7.30pm - Working in South West London Health and Social Care webinar Are you interested in working in South West London Primary or Social Care? Would you like to find out more about the type of entry-level jobs that are available? This 1.5 hour virtual session will provide you with an introduction to the South West London Health & Social Care landscape. You will gain insights into various entry-level roles, including: Administrator / Receptionist Care / Support Worker Care Coordinator Social Prescriber Guest speakers will share their experiences of how they entered these roles and what their day-to-day responsibilities entail.

14th May 2024 - 4pm - Tesco Stronger Starts Retail Apprenticeship webinar Did you know Tesco launched their Stronger Starts Retail Apprenticeship programme? It offers an incredible opportunity for young people to develop new skills, build confidence and learn about all areas of retail as well as kick-starting their career. Plus they’ll gain a Level 2 National Standard in Retail (equivalent to 5 GCSE Passes) - no qualifications or experience needed! 29th May 2024 - Museum of London Careers Insight Day Have you ever thought about working in a museum? Museum of London are excited to host a Careers Insight Day on Wednesday 29th May 2024 . This is an opportunity to visit our London Wall site (currently closed to the public), see behind the scenes and learn about all the different jobs in a museum. You will be able to take part in workshops, get hands-on with our objects and meet staff to ask them about their roles. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Who can apply? This opportunity is open to young people in Years 10-13 in full-time education, living in one of the 32 London boroughs. Our aim is to widen access to museum careers, so if we receive more applications than there are spaces we may prioritise students from the following groups: •students who identify as Black, Asian or ethnically diverse •students with disabilities •students in receipt of free school meals
