Photographer A photographer takes professional photographs to accompany articles in magazines. Depending on what type of photography is required, various techniques are used, such as using natural lighting and props to capture high-quality images. Knowledge of how to regulate the camera's features is required for this role to ensure that the shutter speeds, lighting and camera focus are appropriate for the assignment. Photographers may also edit their own photos or submit them to a specialist photo editor to perfect the final photo. Many photographers work on a freelance basis. However, full-time employment opportunities are available.
