30th June 2026 - JACE Training Tour & Workshop
Students had the opportunity to visit JACE Training for a small group workshop and nursery visit.
Students learned about the childcare courses available at JACE and were guided through some activities by a college tutor. This gave them the opportunity to ask questions and participate in activities that they would be expected to complete as part of their Post 16 course, if they were to pursue childcare.
Students were also given a tour of a local nursery which accommodates apprenticeship students, giving them a real insight into a workplace and what the realities of childcare as a career would be.
Students enjoyed the day, and are now considering childcare as a real and viable pathway for their future careers.
