Applications for Kingston University’s free Year 10 Saturday Club Programme open on Wednesday 16th September 2026. In partnership with the National Saturday Club, Kingston University is offering two exciting opportunities for Year 10 students: · Art & Design Saturday Club · Science & Engineering Saturday Club Both clubs are completely free for Year 10 students and take place on our Kingston University across 17-18 Saturdays from 16th January – 26th June 2027. We’re looking for students with a strong interest in Science & Engineering or Art & Design. 17th September 2026 - MPCT College Open Day - 1-3pm We would like to extend a formal invitation to you to attend our upcoming open day event at MPCT Croydon on the 17th of September. The event will provide an opportunity to discuss and showcase learners’ abilities and achievements, as well as outline our course pathways in education. Timings will be confirmed in late August/early September, but it will roughly be 1300 – 1500. We will have commenced our new academic year (17th August) and it would be great for you to witness the great work that has been put in by our learners following GCSE results and the start of their MPCT course. There are still spaces available for suitable and eligible potential learners. So, if you know someone seeking a challenge, who has an interest in the Uniformed Services then MPCT could be for them. We are happy to enrol suitable candidates to support their fitness and physical development, while broadening their military knowledge in preparation for the Assessment Centre, or for successful applications to a service and role of their choice, or their preferred civilian employment. Additionally, funding is available in the form of bursary support for travel and uniform. We welcome applicants from 16 up to 25 years of age.

30th September 2026 - 6pm-7pm - STCG Virtual Open Event for parents + carers We are delighted to also be offering a webinar for all parents and carers with children in Year 11. Our Schools Partnership Team will be sharing important information about post 16 courses, how to apply to a college course and what to expect throughout the process during their child's Year 11 journey, up until they eventually enrol in the next academic year. This online information evening is geared towards parents and carers, to inform and support their understanding of post 16 options and of college expectations. This virtual open event will take place on Microsoft Teams - joining instructions will be sent prior to the start date.
