7th May 2026 11am-12pm - AI, Data, & Sustainable Innovation in Investment Banking webinar We’re delighted to invite students to an engaging virtual event exploring AI, Data, & Sustainable Innovation in Investment Banking with professionals from Bank of America. AI, Data & Sustainable Innovation in Investment Banking Date: Thurs, 7 May 2026 Time: 11am – 12pm In this interactive session, students will hear from industry professionals at Bank of America about how technology and sustainability are transforming the sector. They’ll gain insight into innovative approaches that are influencing modern financial services, as well as receive practical advice on preparing for careers in these areas. Students will meet: Mashrur, An Analyst who programmes and reviews code for a calculation engine that computes the bank’s risk (“exposure”), working closely with quantitative researchers to enhance financial models and monitor changes in risk. Emma, who works in Global Markets at Bank of America, will share how AI and data are used to understand market trends, manage risk, and help clients make decisions. Ruslan, working in Environmental, Social & Governance, focusing on sustainable innovation within the bank. Students will gain valuable insight into emerging career pathways at the intersection of finance, technology, and sustainability, and learn how they can start preparing now for opportunities in the industry.

25th May 2026 - Football Academy at Kingston College - Study an Academic Qualification while Training and Playing Football Did you know we have a FOOTBALL ACADEMY at Kingston College? And it’s very successful with a fantastic track record! Next trial date: Monday 25 May (Bank Holiday/Half Term). Our Academy players train/play football whilst studying an academic qualification allowing them to pursue their sporting ambitions while completing one of the following full time courses: BTEC Level 1 Directed Pathways BTEC Level 2 in Sport in conjunction with Bedfont Sports Football Club BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Sport and Exercise Science BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Sports Coaching BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training Our Academy bridges the gap between grassroots youth football and men’s semi-professional football and beyond – with a fantastic track record of successful past students: Joe Aribo plays for Leicester City and Nigeria; Dom Dwyer won a scholarship to the USA and played for their national team, now at Mansfield Town; Joe Edwards has held coaching positions at Chelsea, Everton, England U20s and Coventry City.

27-28th May 2026 - Young Scientist 2026 Kingston University’s Developing Minds Lab is inviting young people aged 6-16 to their annual Young Scientists Event for children aged 6-16. This is an exciting opportunity for children to learn about psychology and discover what psychologists do. Parents/teachers are invited to bring their children along to learn about psychology and gain first-hand experience of psychological research. A variety of research activities are available ranging from how we perceive emotions to how we solve puzzles.
